The Klang Valley 2 Region Development Implementation Workshop, organized by UPEN Selangor together with University Technology Malaysia, was a strategic move taken towards ensuring  that development in the Klang Valley 2 Region proceeds smoothly, in line with the inspiration of the community, national and state visions.
The one-day Workshop was held on the 23rd January at the Cyberview Lodge & Spa, with the objectives as follows:

A total of 290 participants were participated in the workshop including representatives from the Government, the private sector, District/Municipal Council Members, politicians, academicians, and other non-governmental agencies. The agenda of the Workshop ranged from the Keynote Address and launch by the YAB Dato’ Chief Minister of Selangor followed by a video presentation of the Talk on KV2R Current Development, the group discussion workshop and thereafter the presentation of the group’s resolution by the chairperson of each group. The closing ceremony was officiated by The Honourable Selangor State Secretary.
The workshop’s discussions were divided into six groups according to pre-determined themes as follows:

At the end of this session, 68 resolutions were submitted covering the topics of steps/proposals on actions to be taken towards the development of the Klang Valley 2 Region.
